Station 11 recieved a Department of Homeland Security Federal Grant for $125,888 during 2005. This money was used to purchase 25 full sets of turnout gear, 10 Scott NXG2 4500 airpacks with individual masks for each firefighter, a Scott Thermal Imager, a RIT pack, 12 Motorola portable radios, 6 Motorola mobile radios, a 500 gpm portable pump, and an electronic accountabilty unit with tags.
