Calls for June - 2006
June 13, 0504 hrs Department 11 for a tanker response and 15(Morris) for a full response was dispatched on a 2nd alarm response to Box 1-06, Delmar Twp on the Wilkins Road for a Cabin Fire. Chief 1-10(McCarthy) arrived and reported a 10' X 15' camp fully involved past the point of collpase. The structure was in the field and only accessible by 4 wheel drive apparatus. D-11 and 15 were recalled. At 0607 hrs, D-11 was alerted again for a Engine to transfer to Station 1. E11-2 responded with 11-20(Johnson). June 7, 1155 hrs Department 11 and Medic 1 were dispatched for an motor vehicle crash on Route 287 near Cornell's plaza. R11-8, E11-1 and A7-7 responded. No entrapment was reported and 1 BLS patient was transported to SSMH.

Calls for May
May 30, 1835 hrs Stations 11 and 7(Tioga) were dispatched for a tree fire with lines down along Rt 287 near the lake. No fire was found and E-11-2 remained on scene until the Electric Company arrived.
May 19, 1607 hrs Station 11 was alerted for a 1-alarm vehicle fire. Chief 11(Cooper) responded and was told there were exposures nearby and requested a full reponse from 17(Chatham). E11-2 responded and was advised of a propane tank nearby possibly involved. Upon arrival, E11-2 reported a RV with smoke showing. Capt. Scott and FF/EMT Wolz went to work on extingushing the fire. The fire was contained to a oven area with major heat damage to the ceiling area. E17-2 stood by on scene while the E11-2 moped up.
May 15, 1835 hrs Station 11 was dispatched to Dietrichs Milk Plant for a confined space rescue. It was only a drill though! Chief 11-20(Johnson) arrived and established command. He reported one patient fallen off a ladder into a below ground "pit". It was simulated that the patient was checking some valves and fell with arm, leg, and head injuries. R11-8, E11-2, and A7-7 responded. The rescue went to work with Capt. Scott and FF/EMT B. Phelps first in. FF/Paramedic S. Perry and FF Owlett later joined the crew in packaging the patient on a stokes basket and doing a vertical lift. Good technical rescue skills from all.
May 13, 1418 hrs Stations 11, 7(Tioga), and Medic 1(Wellsboro ALS) were assigned to a vehicle accident on Route 287, Middlebury Twp. near the location where the previous mva was. Chief 11-30(Trowbridge) arrived and reported 1 vehicle off the roadway and recalled 7 and Medic 1. R11-8, E11-1, and A7-7 quickly responded and arrived. The vehicle was drivable and the patient refused care and all units went back in service.
May 11, 2211 hrs The 11 and 7(Tioga) houses and Medic 1(Wellsboro ALS) were dispatched for a vehicle off the road with 1 injury on Route 287, Middlebury Twp. Chief 11-30(Trowbridge) arrived on scene and confirmed 1 vehicle off the road with 1 BLS injury. D-7 was cancelled and 11 handled the job and transport with A7-7.
May 9, 2302 hrs D-11 was dispatched to assist Wellsboro F.D. on Box 1-04, Charleston Twp. for a tanker assignment at a structure fire. T11-5 and T11-15 responded to assist. The fire was quickly brought under control. T2-5(Mansfield)was also called to the scene while E15-3(Morris) was covering the 1 house.
May 9, 0355 hrs An early wake up call to the 11 house was made to cover Station 1(Wellsboro) while they were out on a 2-alarm blaze. They were assisting on Box 10-04, Gaines Twp at the well known Antlers Inn. Operating on the box were 10(Galeton), 19(Germania), 5(Westfield), 16(Clymer Twp), and 1(Wellsboro). E11-2 covered up for 4 hours while D-1 was working.
May 2, 1735 hrs D-11 was dispatched to assist Wellsboro F.D. on Box 1-10, Charleston Twp. for a wildfire with exposures. T11-5, T11-15, E11-1 and P11-4 all responded to assist. The fire was brought under control with no damage to any structures.

April 29, 1652 hrs D-11 was dispatched for traffic control on Route 249, Middlebury Twp. While operating on scene, the driver of the vehicle started to complain of injuries and A7-7 was dispatched to the scene to handle the transport.
April 24, 0800 hrs The 11 house started early with a motor vehicle crash on Route 249, Middlebury Twp. R11-8 and E11-1 responded from the fire side and A7-7 responded to handle the transport. Upon arrival of BLS, patient refused care and A7-7 went available. D-11 remained on scene for traffic control.
April 12, 1917 hrs Middlebury F.D. was toned out to assist D-1(Wellsboro) on Box 1-10, Charleston Twp, for a wildfire. Fire was brought under control and D-11 was cancelled.
April 3, 1505 hrs 11 house was dispatched this afternoon for a vehicle pedestrian accident on the Osceola/Keeneyville Road, Middlebury Twp. Upon arrival it was determined that the patient was directing traffic for road work and a passing vehicle had run over his foot. Fire was cancelled and A7-7 handled the transport.
